The association offers Hunter Education courses throughout the year. These outdoor safety courses are state certified through the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and are made available for ages 9 and up. Hunter Education is required in 37 states in order to purchase a hunting license. Please call 692-1141 for further information.

Hunter Education Courses

The Northwest Texas Field and Stream Association is teaching the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department Hunter Education course. All hunters born on or after Sept. 2, 1971 are required to have completed Hunters Education.

There are 10 Certified instructors-- each teaching a block of the course in a classroom setting. This class is a premiere outdoor educational opportunity.
